Physical Sim Card.
1) Only insert the sim card when you arrived at destination country. (For duo sim cards phone, please insert into slot 1 and do not insert any card at slot 2, this is to ensure network stability)
2) After insert the sim card, you must turn on "roaming" and "mobile data", then it will automatically connected and activated within 5 to 10 mins. (The day of activation will count as Day 1)
3) If still unable to connect, then please go to settings, then turn off “automatic” (network selection), then choose “network” (in this case choose “Viettel”)
Sim Card Features:
a) Only provide Data, not available for local voice call and SMS, as such no local phone number.
b) Hotspot sharing (depends very much on the phone, we are unable to confirm on that), but most of the phone can share hotspot.
c) No activation needed (activation is automatic when you insert the Sim card into your phone & turn on Mobile data and roaming)
d) this SIM card has no expiry date (before the 1st usage, upon the 1st usage, then this sim card can be used for the next 12 months top-up for total 3 times)
d) Once a data finish using, it will either stop totally or speed reduce to 128kbps (128kbps only allow you to reply message from social media)
e) support most type of 4G/5G smartphones (phones that made after June 2020) except Samsung A series.
f) registration is not required (unless it is required by the government of the destination country that you are visiting)
